Former West Ham and Fulham star Bobby Zamora has picked Thierry Henry as the greatest striker to ever grace the Premier League over Wayne Rooney.

Speaking in an exclusive interview with GOAL's Beast Mode On Podcast, Zamora was asked to name his GOAT striker from the Premier League in a winner-stays-on game. The former England international stuck with Rooney in battles against Luis Suarez, Harry Kane, Andy Cole, Sergio Aguero, Alan Shearer, Jamie Vardy, Didier Drogba, Robin van Persie, Erling Haaland, Ruud van Nistelrooy, Fernando Torres, and Dennis Bergkamp, but when Henry came up as the Manchester United legend's final opponent, he sided with the Frenchman.

HENRY'S STELLAR PREMIER LEAGUE CAREER
Henry joined Arsenal from Juventus for £11 million in 1999, and went on to score 175 goals in 258 Premier League appearances for the Gunners, helping them claim two Premier League titles and three FA Cups. The France international also won four Golden Boots, a feat that has since only been matched by Liverpool's Mohamed Salah.

LIFE AFTER FOOTBALL FOR HENRY
Henry hung up his boots in 2014 before moving into coaching. He has enjoyed spells with Monaco, the Montreal Impact and the France U21s, but is now working as a pundit for Sky Sports and CBS Sports.
